The UFOID reader is a compact and easy to use terminal capable of handling RFID in three different modes:
- SLAVE
- SPONTNEOUS
- KEYBOARD EMULATION
SLAVE mode executes all commands received from the MASTER unit.
SPONTNEOUS mode reads the RFID device’s code and sends the data to the MASTER.
KEYBOARD EMULATION mode reads, after checking the validity of the TAG, the code and sends it to a PC, emulating typing the code on a keyboard.
It’s possible to access the entire memory of the TAG as well as program the protection code and choosing the method to send data to the remote controller.
The communication protocol with the PC is the USB Virtual COM that allows an easy integration in the systems. A bi-color LED provides all optical signals.
If required, it’s possible to customize the reader implementing the functionality HF or HF / LF simultaneously.
